Medical marijuana has been known to assist patients with many hard-to-bear diseases like cancer and Crohn’s Disease. And HIV/AIDS can now be added to this list. Though treatment medication for AIDS is available, many of them have sufferable side effects such as twitching, tremors, restlessness, nausea, joint pain and swelling, dizziness, headaches, and more. Medical marijuana has been said, by patients, to help alleviate many of these. It has the same positive effects as muscle relaxants, hypnotics, and analgesics which are prescribed to help with AIDS medication consequences. However, medical marijuana is much less addictive than prescription medications and less detrimental to the body. As the battle to make marijuana above the law continues, many states are beginning to recognize its medical properties. Something that suppresses pain and brings relief to those who are suffering should be permissible.
Am I right?
