Stolen Moments: Red Hot + Cool was hailed as Time Magazine’s 1994 Album of the Year.

One of the first projects to explore the impact of AIDS upon the African American community, the CD features collaborations between old school jazz performers and contemporary hip hop artists.

A documentary film focusing on the impact of AIDS on communities of color was broadcast on PBS in tandem with the album release, and released on home video.
