Annually awards grants to more than 400 AIDS and family service organizations nationwide and is the major supporter of the social service programs of The Actors Fund, including the HIV/AIDS Initiative, the Phyllis Newman Women’s Health Initiative and the Al Hirschfeld Free Health Clinic.

Hold On to Your Dreams: Arthur Russell and the Downtown Music Scene by Tim Lawrence + Just Kids by Patti Smith – Both amazing, amazing literary works about two fantastic artists lost to AIDS, with insight from those closest to them. Direct proceeds actually don’t go to a cause, but there’s no way anyone can walk away after reading these thinking not working to end HIV/AIDS is acceptable.
